Network Maintenance 09/12/09

Dear All,

We have received communications from our primary KSP upstream of an emergency maintenance window that is to take place out of hours later this evening.

Correspondence reads as follows:

"We will be moving customers from our existing KSP connectivity to the new 10Gbps fibre this evening (10/12/2009) between 23:00 and 23:15hrs GMT. During this window a brief interruption to network connectivity is expected, lasting no more than 5-10 seconds. These works were originally scheduled to take place during January, however in light of the power issues yesterday we must urgently bring this window forwards."

Update as of 10/12/09 @ 23:00:

This window has now been completed successfully, disruption lasted no more than 3-5 seconds.
