and wish to locate it from within our secure racks where it will be connected to a resilient
power source and a our reliable, multigigabit network that's milliseconds away from the
heart of the UK internet!
As well as offering clients very competitively priced server colocation packages, clients will
now benefit from the ability to instantly reboot their server as well as see their traffic usage
patterns over the last day / week / month via our bespoke client portal 24x7 completely free of charge.

Colocation or
Dedicated?
This is a question we are regularly asked at RackSRV and it comes down to two factors, convenience and budget. Often clients
will send down a homemade server that’s not designed for 24x7 usage in a data centre environment. The aim is to save a few pounds
in rental costs but this can often prove to be a false economy when something goes bang at 4am in the morning requiring an
expensive engineer callout to escort the client on to site!
By renting a UK Dedicated Server from RackSRV, you can rest safe in the knowledge that we will quickly and efficiently deal with
any hardware issues as we keep most parts in stock leaving you to focus your time and effort on more important things.
Colocation
SLA
All of our UK server colocation and dedicated rackspace solutions include a comprehensive SLA that guarantees a minimum availability of
power, air conditioning and connectivity. If we fail to meet our guaranteed SLA then we will credit a client’s account
in line with our SLA scheduled.
Naturally any pre-planned maintenance windows are exempt from SLA claims but we do, and always will attempt to minimize
any disruption caused by routine maintenance by arranging these windows out of hours and giving as much notice by email as possible.

Delivery
Shortly after signing up for one or more of our server collocation packages, we will be touch to discuss your dedicated IP address
requirements as well as to make suitable arrangement to take collection / delivery of your server hardware.
All server colocation deliveries must be arranged with ourselves to prevent any confusion with regards to the delivery address (we
have two UK registered addresses) as well as to ensure someone is available to sign for the receipt your shipment.
