Install and configure NTP in Centos

The steps to install and configure NTP in Centos are as follows:

1.) Login into the server as the root user
2.) Install the software by typing yum install ntp
3.) Then enable the service with chkconfig ntpd on
4.) Synchonize the system clock with ntpdate pool.ntp.org
5.) Finally start the NTP service with /etc/init.d/ntpd start
